If I were I was a boss

OMG I would be feeling on top of the world. The power that I’ve always wanted is finally mine, I don’t have to work under anybody and I call the shots. Though I would repect my workers and make sure I treat them equally. You know being a boss does come with a lot of stress and pressure I can see from my boss. You basicallly play the role of a dad, businessman and that for your wokers mean you have everything under control including my salary. Some bosses though take their jobs for granted and don’t utilise their staus correctly. It also depends what company and who will I be bossing around. Bossing around is such a primary school term that my friends and I use to say to each other. Not knowing that one day we all would love to be big bosses. A boss doesn’t have to be big, a male and have a deep voice. There are soo many stigmas attched to it I for one don’t agree with all of them. A boss has to be strong, assertive and open minded. I bet a lot of people would battle to take me seriously because I look like a sixteen year old well I may look like one I surely don’t act like one. I remember when I use to work for a magzine company, when it came to meeting clients (by myself) they’d always looked surprised as to say, are you old enough and was I really speaking to you on the phone, It always craked me up. I’m going to be a boss in a industry in the near furture but right now I’m the boss of my life and I need to live it.

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself …

Poor, well it depends how bad the lie is, a lie is generally not a good thing to anyone. I would rather call it a shame idea rather than a poor idea a lie affects you personally. A lot of people within society have lied to get to where they are today, there are however consequences in the end. Why lie to yourself when you know it’s not what you really want to hear. One can lie to make themselves feel good but for how long will that lie hold. Lying to yourself could lead to dishonesty and could affect your daily life. Living in a lie comes with a whole lot of pressure. Take for example; a humble young boy from a rural area/poor background comes to Cape Town for a better life meets up with rich students who are living a life that he can only dream of, the pressure is for him to live up to that stand, he has two options to either work to get that life (forget about education) or pretend to be living that life (meaning he might have to steal or ask money from his poor family at home). Either way he would be lying to himself because that is not the life he had hope for himself and he is not being true to his character/who is. Chose your lie as it may affect you in the long run, lie when you have to. If you are honest with yourself you won’t have to lie.

Not all who wander are lost. 1/5

Wander, curiosity I call it, I mean you wouldn’t wander if you knew where you were going. Though you could just want to see what is beyond the wandering and try to find answers to the questions you’re asking. You can only get lost if you don’t know your direction. You need to plan and get all the necessary information that will lead you in the right direction. If you get lost, I encourage you to not be afraid to ask for direction from anyone as you never know what lies ahead. Though, if your path of life is filled with distractions you are most likely to get lost. Wander, but don’t wander too long time waits for no man, opportunities come once you need to grab them and give them your all. Wandering may have some stumbling blocks, challenges, disappointments and frustrations you need to be strong and determined about your journey as you never know where it may take you. As young people we tend to forget about our dreams, ambitions and aspirations only because the influences within our society seem to be the life but that is only because we as the young people don’t know any better, wandering to us is a norm and once we reach adulthood with out realising it, it’s a norm that needs attention

WE ARE WHAT WE DO

I would rather say it’s within our characters. What we do could just justify our actions and personalities. My doing differs from the next person and does not nescessary mean that I have to agree with what they are doing and same applies for them. The outcomes of doings could be bad or good depending on the person/individual. I personally feel that doings reflect on the kind of person you are. Take for example I love talking to people and that brings out the talkative side of me. If you love fashion or music, your designs/collecting of music defines the creative and musical side of who you are. Though your doings are influenced in one way or another and your doings could influence other doings. So are we what we do, yes to a certain point depending on what it is that we do. If you want to see good then do good. Also doings can also be done internally and externally basically using the sub conscience of oneself. Though we need to be aware of our wrong doings and allow ourselves to correct them or look for the positive. Wrong doings at most times are noted and good doings sometimes go unnoticed. Though doing something good will build your character.
